Film Photography

A few months ago, I acquired a good copy of Pentax MX, which I've always wanted to try. Until recently, I did not have any film to shoot with, and I was considering selling the camera, despite my prolonged interested in using a film SLR.

After seeing my friends using hashtags such as, #filmisnotdead, #ishootfilm, I became more interested in keeping the camera and eventually bought 5 rolls of Kodak Portra 400 from eBay.

For the next few months, I will try shooting with film and document what it is like to shoot with film in a world that has gone digital. I don't even know where I would be able to have the films developed in Toronto and for how much. It might actually be cheaper to shoot a few rolls and ship to Korea for processing.
